ANA GRETHEL SOLIS
Born in the US, raised in Panamá, Ana has found a home in the theatrical stage and the lens of a camera everywhere she goes. She is currently completing an Acting MFA at The New School (New York) after graduating from a Bachelor's in Arts Administration, Drama, and Film from the University of Virginia.
Also, she is starting 2021 with a leading role in "The Farm" a Panamanian horror film by Alberto Serra alongside Stella Lauri (Todos Cambiamos), and Isabella Sierra (Reina del Sur)
Some of her favorite theatre roles have been Cathy Hyatt in The Last Five Years and Baker's Wife from Into the Woods. Her most recent one is Salome in an abridged version of Oscar Wilde's Salome at the New School of Drama.
Recently, she did her film debut with the Panamanian comedy Locos al Poder as Liz Marie Quelqueyeck. She has also participated in many short films, some of these written and directed by herself such as "Pandemia Mental" (created during the COVID lockdown and selected for the Panama Horror Film Festival).
