Jose Duran is a Bolivian-born, Miami-raised, New York City based actor. He attended the William Esper Studio from 2014 to 2016 where he studied with Bruce McCarty and Suzanne Esper. He made his New York stage debut at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre in the play Cupid's. He's written and directed many projects under his production company, Luminous Path Films; most recently the sci-fi drama Dark Deco, which premiered at the TLC Chinese Theatre as part of the Beverly Hills International Film Festival. He landed a lead role in the Bolivian drama Tu Me Manques, directed by Rodrigo Bellott, which was selected as the country's entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. You can see him as Omar in Season 1 of the upcoming BRIC TV comedy 86'd.
Jose is an active volunteer at outreach programs like New York Cares and the 52nd Street Project.
