Anthony M. Laura is an independent filmmaker known for writing, producing and directing his own work.  He has been an avid film buff since a very young age and has always been fascinated with stories involving women.  Anthony started Face to Face Films in order to focus in on smaller films about real people.  It's his hope as a filmmaker to take stories about people that are not regularly understood and give them a voice.

Anthony has been inspired by such greats as Peter Bogdanovich, Woody Allen, Todd Haynes, John Cassavetes, David Lynch. His love of film also lead him to be heavily influenced by foreign filmmakers such as Ingmar Bergman, Robert Bresson, Francois Truffaut, Agnes Varda, and Bernardo Bertolucci.  and James L. Brooks.

Anthony trained in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and Full Sail University. He has also taken workshops and classes with Robert McKee, Christopher Vogler, Judith Weston, Karen Kohlhass, Sarah Ruhl and John Truby.

Anthony and Face to Face's resident artists are dedicated to bringing awareness to important issues. Check out their PSA's HERE!
